Our 2024 Entlefest and National Specialty Returns to the Swiss Park in Washington State!
Join us in Washington State August 14-18, 2024. The Specialty show will be held in conjunction with the Olympic Kennel Club’s annual show at the Enumclaw Expo Center. The majority of the Entlefest activities will take place at the Swiss Sportsmen’s Club Park in Bonney Lake (just a few miles from Enumclaw).
We have a block of rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn Express in Sumner.
Online booking or call the front desk at (253) 299-0205 and ask for the NEMDA Entlefest Block. Rooms are blocked out from Tuesday, August 13 through Sunday night, August 18. Our rate is $149 per night plus tax and one-time pet fee of $35 (maximum is 2 dogs per room).
Like to camp? You can bring your tent or RV to the Swiss Park. Rates for camping will be very reasonable. There is plenty of room—we will have a place in the registration packet/process for you to reserve a spot. Don’t have an RV? We've heard the company Outdoorsy rents RVs in the area. If interested, reserving early would be wise.
While we do not yet have a firm schedule of activities, our plans will certainly include CEBA (Comprehensive Entlebucher Breed Assessment), the Specialty Show, blood draw, our Annual General Meeting, a banquet and auction, group dinners with your dogs (and a dessert!), a presentation or workshop, and of course lots of social time for both Entles and humans! We are also planning to repeat our “field trip” to Crystal Mountain Ski Area to ride the gondola and (hopefully) get a fantastic view of Washington State’s most iconic mountain, Mt. Rainier.
