CEBA Temperament & Conformation Evaluation
Time: 8:00 am
The Comprehensive Entlebucher Breed Assessment (CEBA) is for any NEMDA member who would like to learn how their Entle compares to the NEMDA breed standard in both temperament and conformation. Come away from the evaluations with a customized profile of your dog’s behavioral traits and structural characteristics. Click here For more information.
Can you help with CEBA? Join us Friday morning with family or spouse as a CEBA volunteer! Volunteering for CEBA is fun in two ways: It is a great chance to see the commonalities and differences of typical Entles as they respond in a variety of situations, and a chance to mingle with fellow members with a purpose. Should this be your first time to volunteer, don’t worry, we’re all learning and training together. Our CEBA crew will provide any guidance needed for the friendly strangers (10) and the stimulus exercises.
Lunch (Included with Entlefest registration; right after CEBA)

Box lunch from famous BJ’s Brewhouse will include a sandwich, apple, chips, cookie and a drink. You will receive an email to make your selection through the NEMDA website after you have registered for Entlefest
Distractions 101 - Building Entle Focus & Attention
Time: 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Is your Entle distracted or disengaged while out and about? When you and your Entle encounter friends, either dogs or people, does your Entle bark, try to drag you towards them or worse yet, jump on them? If so, this training session is for you. Heidi Palmer McNeil, CTC, CPDT-KA, owner of Pooch Pawsitive Dog Training and her assistant, Taylor Fordham, KPA-CTP, CPDT-KA will guide us as we build and improve our dog training skills. Through fun, low stress exercises, we will empower our dogs to make the right choice while watching and paying attention to us. When our dog’s focus is on us, we set them up for success. We can tell them what we want to do next, and they can do it. After all, they will be paying attention! Put away all your distractions and join the fun!
What is your biggest training issue with your Entle? Heidi and Taylor want to know! They will work with us and our dogs on games that build skills and focus. There will also be time for Q&A.

If the OFA does not already have your dog’s sample, this is the perfect time for you to add it to this important research resource. We will have a veterinary technician on site to draw blood samples. There is no cost to you. Expenses will be covered by NEMDA and EPF.
